Scincopus Fasciatus(Peter's Banded Skink)

 This ground dwelling desert skink from Northern Africa is most often found hiding under  sand.  Coming from a harsh environment, they are pretty hardy reptiles.  Being a relatively new species, there is still much learning to be done on these.  With uncertainty if anybody has yet to successfully breed them in captivity, it is presumed that those found in captivity are wild caught and have been imported.
